A little boy has shocked people around the world after he was seen on video flying a plane, according to video uploaded to the internet. A 5-year-old boy has officially become the youngest person ever to fly a plane. He Yide, nicknamed Duoduo, of Nanjing, China, made a 35 minute flight over the Beijing Wildlife Park on Saturday.
The child was accompanied by an instructor inside a 100 kilo aircraft called Bee 3. The boy controlled the plane himself.
His father, He Liesheng, known as Eagle Dad, and famous for pushing his child to participate in extreme tasks, wrote about Duoduo’s achievements on the social network Weibo.
"His first flight was a success and he was not afraid at all," Liesheng said.
Duoduo is said to have been trained for a month.
Liesheng sparked controversy in 2012 after a YouTube clip showed him forcing his child to do push ups in the snow.
